We have been supplying event power distribution for over 25 years from our warehouse in Rotherham, just off the M1 and M18. Around 95% of the kit we hire out is ours — we own the distribution boards, the cabling and the connectors, and our own crew deliver, set up and test everything on site.
That matters because when something needs adjusting on the day — an extra socket, a longer cable run, a board that needs reconfiguring — we are not ringing round a rental chain to find someone who can sort it. The same crew who bring the gear also know how it works.
Our distribution equipment is PAT tested and arrives with current safety certificates. Risk assessments and method statements come with every hire, and we carry £5 million public liability insurance as standard.
How It Works
A generator or mains supply feeds into a distribution board, which splits the power out to your stages, PA systems, lighting rigs, catering equipment and bars. We size the board and the cable runs to your event — a small community gala might need a single-phase board with standard sockets, while a multi-stage festival needs three-phase distribution with industrial connectors running across the site.
We deliver nationwide, including to venues like NEC Birmingham, Manchester Central, ExCel London and Telford Exhibition Centre, and we cover Sheffield, Leeds, Doncaster and Barnsley with short-notice availability.
What Clients Say
Darren Dawson hired a stage, sound equipment and chairs from us for a company event and said afterwards: "The guys turned up well in advance, set everything up and made sure I was happy before leaving site."
Steven, who hired a large outdoor mobile stage with lights and PA, said: "Reliable, dependable and cost effective... The team that attended our event are stars!"
Real Events, Real Power Needs
The charity events we work on give you a sense of the scale. The Alzheimer's Society Memory Walk puts around 110,000 walkers on the road over a seven-week nationwide programme, with stages, PA systems and start and finish gantries at every venue. The Prostate Cancer UK March for Men and Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity fundraising events are others we have supported. Events of this size need proper power distribution to run the production side.
